This is the Australian Business Foundation's response to the Terms of Reference for the House of Representatives, Standing Committee on Science and Innovation Inquiry into Business Commitment to Research and Development in Australia. Submissions for this Inquiry closed on the 30 August 2002. The final report for this Inquiry, Riding the Innovation Wave: The Case for Increasing Business Investment in R&D was released by the Parliament in June 2003.
