Mr Alistair Nolan is a leading authority on issues associated with entrepreneurship, clustering and SME development. Currently the Project Manager for the OECD Forum on Entrepreneurship and the OECD's Local Economic and Employment Development (LEED) program. Alistair was a co-organizer of the June 2000 Bologna conference for Ministers of SME's—the first OECD ministerial conference of its kind examining SME development. He co-authored the OECD background papers and policy recommendations on industrial clusters and business networks and recently authored a new OECD book entitled "Entrepreneurship and Local Economic Development: Programme and Policy Recommendations."
