  <bio>Award-winning Australian journalist, &lt;strong&gt;David Forman (pictured with son Ben)&lt;/strong&gt;, has built a career on probing the increasingly complex world of business seeking answers to that perennial question: &amp;quot;How can we do it better?&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Forman was The Australian newspaper's first Canberra business correspondent, reporting from Parliament House on issues affecting the business community across a range of issues - from industry policy formulation to the regulation of business in areas such as competition policy, trade policy and anti-dumping laws.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having previously worked as a senior writer with Business Review Weekly (BRW) magazine in Melbourne covering manufacturing, legal affairs and the wine industry, he later became the Canberra correspondent for BRW covering government/business relations, industry policy, trade, and policy implementation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Forman started his career in business journalism as the editor of the business section of Australia's leading regional daily newspaper, the Geelong Advertiser, after serving as a crime and court reporter for the Border Mail in Albury, NSW.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In 1996, Forman was joint winner of the business magazine publishers' Bell award for best feature article for a report examining the power of the chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Alan Fels.</bio>
