Professor Göran Roos, Chairman, VTT International

Göran Roos is Chairman of VTT International (the global outreach of Finland's Technical Research Centre), Honorary Professor at Warwick Business School in the UK, Visiting Professor at the Centre for Business Performance at Cranfield University and Senior Advisor, Asia Pacific to Aalto Executive Education Academy.

Göran is the author and co-author of over one hundred books, book chapters, papers and articles many of which have been recognised with awards and sits on several international corporate advisory boards. Göran was named one of the 13 most influential thinkers for the 21st Century by the Spanish business journal “Direccion y Progreso”.

Göran has been appointed Thinker in Residence by the South Australian Premier for the period commencing 2011. His residency will focus on the opportunities for manufacturing companies to create entirely new and profitable business models by successfully capitalising on new fields of technology like Augmented Reality, Social Media, Synthetic Biology and Cleantech.
