Professor Tim Turpin, Professorial Fellow, University of Western Sydney
Professor Tim Turpin is a sociologist and specialist in science and technology policy, currently Professorial Fellow, Centre for Industry and Innovation Studies at the University of Western Sydney. His research interests focus on the local and global processes by which knowledge is produced, managed and diffused. He has been commissioned by international agencies such as World Bank, UNESCO, ASEAN and APEC, and his latest work centres on a series of ARC funded projects investigating the training, networks and careers of scientists in the Asia Pacific region.
