Mr Sam MacAulay, PhD Student, University of Queensland & the Australian Research Council Centre for Complex Systems
Sam Macaulay's research is aimed at uncovering the complex evolutionary mechanisms behind the emergence of different patterns of innovation within organisations. Within his PhD, Sam is collaborating with a number of multinational firms involved in the engineering industry to investigate how the structure of organisational networks influences problem solving & innovation. Sam prebiously worked as a researcher in the social science stream of CSIRO’s Intelligent Grid Project and as a consultant on a range of projects related to organisational change and inter-organisational collaboration.
