    INNOVATION BEYOND NEW INVENTIONS: A PRESENTATION BY DR JAMES BRADFIELD MOODY

    The Australian Business Foundation and Deloitte today hosted another event in the New Angles on Innovation series featuring  one of the new generation of innovation thinkers, Dr James Bradfield Moody.

    Dr Moody spoke on the subject of Innovation Beyond New Inventions. Not just the conventional view of taking inventions from mind to market. But appreciating the more chaotic path of innovation - one characterised by forging new connections, experimenting and improvising and using and rearranging knowledge from diverse sources  to create novel solutions.

    Following the Presentation Narelle Kennedy, Chief Executive of the Australian Business Foundation and member of Australia’s National Innovation Review; participated in a podcast discussion with Gerhard Vorster, Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Consulting team and Dr James Bradfield Moody, General Manager, International Development for the CSIRO.

    The Australian Business Foundation has launched official celebrations to mark a decade of discovery since its inception in 1997 as an independent organisation created to undertake evidence based research on topics key to the prosperity of Australia and the global competitiveness of Australian businesses.
