Spotlights
Beyond our face-to-face opportunties for engagement, we provide facilities to get away from the usual squabble and visit us here for an informed debate. Accessible only by members, this part of our online presence augments the discourse which is ongoing through our various face-to-face events.
Always available
To inform that debate and help probe beyond the obvious on a topic, our web site now provides more ways in which our members can connect to leading-edge intelligence and exchange ideas with forward thinking people.
For example, Spotlights capture and share more of these farsighted ideas and are always on tap for Foundation members.
Spotlights are articles of about 1000 words, bringing forward crucial issues, novel insights, maverick opinions or crossâdisciplinary perspectives likely to excite interest and debate among our fellow travellers. A few will be available to the public to read, but most will be exclusive to the members of the Foundation.
Only Foundation members will be able to comment on Spotlights and engage in the debate about the ideas advanced in the Spotlight.

Get involved
Sometimes, the Foundation will stand in the Spotlight and provide a brief guided tour of a new area of thinking, home in on a crucial public issue, or highlight of a leading edge piece of work that is germane to the thinking of those in our orbit.
But we also provide here an 'open mike' opportunity for members to take the Spotlight on a subject about which they are animated and informed. Since our members are often known for original thinking and fresh approaches in their field, why not engage with other members to push the boundaries of your thinking and help them do the same?
The Foundation will moderate Spotlights, reserving the right to a final decision about the material to be published and respect for copyright ownership and acknowledging the work of other authors.
